Communications with stations in the maritime services

41.1

Stations on board aircraft may communicate, for purposes of distress, and for public correspondence, with stations of the maritime mobile or maritime mobile-satellite services. For these purposes, they shall conform to the relevant provisions of Chapter VII and Chapter IX, Articles 51 (Section III), 53, 54, 55, 57 and 58 (see also Nos. 4.19, 4.20 and 43.4). (WRC-07)
